CARFAC has been recommending fees to be paid to artists since its inception in 1968. These payments include royalties for the exhibition and reproduction of an artist’s work, as well as various professional services fees.
The CARFAC-RAAV Minimum Recommended Fee Schedule applies to visual and media artists, and it is widely recognized as the industry standard which is developed and generally agreed to by the visual and media arts sector. We regularly evaluate the effectiveness and impact of our fee schedule, and we offer opportunities for feedback and negotiation.
How can CARFAC-RAAV improve and expand our Fee Schedule in order to be more responsive to the needs of visual and media artists and the Canadian visual and media arts sector?
