CARFAC’s greatest strength is our members. We are working artists, living in cities and towns, large and small, from coast to coast to coast. Our members work in various visual arts mediums, as well as media arts and craft practices. As a professional membership association, it is important to recognize the many artists, at all stages of their careers, who contribute to and help inform our work.
We are committed to championing a community that reflects the diversity of all artists in Canada. We acknowledge and respect the diversity of our members, board leadership, and staff. We strive to better represent under-served and under-represented communities, especially individuals who identify with: First Nations, Inuit, or Métis peoples; people of colour; diverse gender and sexual identities (including LGBTQ2+); and people living with disability.
We are pleased to share a directory of our membership, and to feature one of our members on our Home Page and social media accounts every month. Check out our previously Featured Members here. Please note that for privacy reasons, this directory only reflects members who have explicitly agreed to be listed. To add your profile to the list or to request participation as a Featured Member, please get in touch with us. All members are welcome to participate, with priority will be given to equity seeking groups.
