Our team works hard to offer services and advice, and to bring awareness to the realities that working artists face from coast to coast to coast.
In the last year alone, we successfully lobbied for meaningful changes to CERB, and we took part in EI reform consultations. Our activism led to a commitment from the Liberals to amend the Copyright Act to include an Artist’s Resale Right. We offered in-demand resources to help artists file taxes for 2020.
There is still so much to do, and every donation towards our #GivingTuesday campaign gives artists access to webinars, resources, and crucial advocacy efforts.
